The Brazilian Embroidery stitch area
is 10 " by 12 " .
Knowledge of the following basic Brazilian Embroidery
techniques is assumed. Detailed instructions of how to use these stitches may
NOT have been included in the text. Instructions for stitch use and placement in
flower construction are detailed.
You must have the basic knowledge of the
following:
Blanket stitch, Stem stitch, Satin stitch, Up/down cast-on, Fly stitch,
Bullion, Cast-on, straight stitch, turkey stitch, split stitch, knotted Lazy
daisy, French knot, stacked stem stitch, double stem or hopper stitch.
You will need a needle gripper:. Five 3.5 " darner needles.. Toothbrush or
Bunka brush for turkey work. Size 11 seed beads for Butterfly. and two size 8
seed beads for eyes.
