Hibiscus Trio Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery Design

“Hibiscus Trio",

Intermediate/Advanced Brazilian Dimensional Design
4” x 6” stitched area
10” x 12” cream or white trigger

Three pretty hibiscus flowers, nestled comfortably in a bed of leaves and ferny-foliage.  Each hibiscus has its own color combination, together they look gorgeous.  The ruffled edges around the hibiscus flowers feature a NEW stitch I have named the “Cast-On Cast-On”, a blend of cast-ons using one thread and two needles.  No, it isn’t anything like the interwoven cast-on, this one is completely different!  It is fun and has many variation possibilities.
The hibiscus pistils are stitched using a knotted variation of my “Two-Tone Drizzle” technique.
The wavy-edge appearance on the leaves is achieved by using a combination of blanket stitch and cast-ons.
