This ergonomic tapered awl comes with a protective cover, large soft grip handle and tapered point that allows for a variety of hole sizes.
This is a handy tool to “tickle the tummy” of those bullions. 
This tool can be used to punch holes in leather and plastics, start holes for small wood screws, and to hold and ease fabric under needle while sewing.
Also works as a laying tool for smoothing threads while stitching
