 Orchids in Bloom
The centerpiece of this orchid grouping is a
realistic Cattleya Orchid, two petals stitched with a ruffled drizzle and the
focal petal completed with the up-down detached buttonhole stitch.
New, easier versions of the Cymbidium and Bella Orchids are also
presented. The Cymbidium is made with Woven Picot Bullions; its showy center
petal with bullion bundles and up-down detached buttonhole stitch. Brazilian
Outline Stitch is used for the leaves. Bella’s petals are made with
Millefiori’s original Woven Buttonhole Bullion, Up-Down Drizzles and Frilly
Ridges.
And there really
are Butterfly Orchids. A matching butterfly enjoys the view.
