But Sunbonnet Sue has a sister who is quite sassy - her name is Sunflower Sue! She loves her garden, constantly tending her flowers with her pet poodle Roy at her side. She's bright and lively and enjoys soaking up the garden's color as she makes her way to the rose arbor with a basket of flowers (and a current novella, iced tea and chocolates) in one hand and roy in the other. Three designs were developed to demonstrate stitches from the book, which is needed to complete the designs as shown: Stitchers are invited to Come Into My Flowers (#956 – front cover design 8½” x 11” - $12.00, fabric print only). Or they may spend time in the Formal Garden (#955 – back cover design 13” x 13” - $12.00, fabric print only). Sixty-three additional designs from An Artist’s Garden are featured in I Spy – Flower Patches (#957 – 16” x 16” - $15.00, fabric print only), a design which may be framed or stitched as an art quilt. Detailed photos, traceable patterns and easy-to-follow instructions for small, intermediate-level designs will delight and entertain stitchers who enjoy working with lighter-weight floss.
