sachet which feature different designs created using the same flower, viola
tricolor. All designs feature a hand painted background (optional) and the violas
are created using pure silk embroidery ribbon and simple embroidery stitches. A good start for a beginners project.

An embroidered blanket or quilt
This design was embroidered on pure wool doctor flannel which features a mother elephant and her infant tagging along behind. The
elephants are appliquéd felt and are
surrounded by a simple collection of daisies and forget me knots. This is a simple
project which features the luxury of silk ribbon to create a treasured heirloom.

This embroidered heirloom has
been created using a soft, wool flannel blanket and a
delicate collection of hand dyed silk embroidery ribbons. Individual sprays of delicately
shaded violets have been worked around a rectangle diagonally divided by stem stitching and seed pearls. The
blanket pictured was fully lined with needlerun lace, soft bows of ribbon and pearls.
