A Victorian Era floral embroidery pattern that is easy to
stitch. What a great pattern for the vintage embroidery stitcher!
If you have never stitched Brazilian Embroidery, this could be a great starting
design.
The new directions are complete with how -to's
for the leaf stitch, couching stitch and a lot of "Bullion Helps". The flowers in this design are:
Bossa Nova Rose and the
simple Cast-on Rose.
If you know how to make a bullion and Cast-Ons this
design will be easy!
The following is the thread weight
requirements for this design:
MM Rose: Lola
Bossa Nova Rose: Lola.
Greens: Iris for the leaves and stems and Glory for the fine growth.
The following basic stitching directions are NOT included. Stem Stitch, Straight stitch, French Knots,
Bullions, Satin Stitch.
If you know the basic technique for these stitches you will need no other directions.
The directions tell you how to USE the above
stitches to make the flowers in the design.
