Brazilian Embroidery Design
This design has been placed on fabric big enough for a
20" x 20"
pillow or be used as an exquisite framed piece of art.
The top picture is the direction that Ruth intended for
the design to be. I personally like it turned this way.
The instructions assume the basic knowledge of Brazilian
Embroidery or the availability of beginner's books for stitch techniques.
The following basic stitches are NOT included: Stem stitch, Outline
stitch, straight stitch, Pistil stitch, French knots, Bullions, Running
Bullions, Long French Knots, Satin Stitch, Cast-On, Double Cast-on
Stitch.
If you know the basic technique for these stitches you will
need no other directions or books. The
directions in the pattern tell how to use the above stitches to create the
flowers in the design.
If
you know the basic technique for these stitches you will need no other

The directions tell you how to USE
