Embroidery stem stitch, couching, alternating satin stitch (leaf stitch), chain
stitches, long and short stitching, cast-on stitches, bullions, blanket
stitches, pistil stitches, detached buttonhole stitches, double cast-on
stitches. There is a picture review of these stitches. The directions tell you
how to use the stitches to create the flowers.
